terribel noise? How can I get rid of that

There shouldn't be any noise from the modulator at all. All you can do is make sure the RCA connectors at the DVD and the modulator are pushed in and tight. If the RCA plugs have those little "ears" around the center pin... pinch them inward just a little to get a better "ground" connection. Make sure connectors are clean, too. If your cables are good and fitting snugly, then you may have a bad modulator or the DVD player could be defective.

Make sure the connections are pushed in all the way on both sides. Not only that, but make sure the colours are matched up correctly, too! Yellow to Yellow, White to White (and Red to Red if available) Putting a Yellow output to a White input will create a terrible noise!

if you've checked your connections and they are correct and you still get the rf buzz, try using a different/new cable.
