For the past 3 weeks, I have been stuck at home recouping post op., and for lack of entertainment earlier this week watched some day time T.V..... a totally new experience for me. (I have a job.) Hey, are those people really real? Are there really guys who have no problem cheating on their wives, and admitting, and even flaunting it at her? And are those women really real who knew they were marrying a cheater, and figured they'd change him? This is all just a joke, right??? Just entertainment, right??? Are these people really real, this stupid, or are they all actors? Anyone know? We don't really have people voting in this country with this level of smarts, do we???? Anyone know?

Well, I don't know about the other shows but Dr. Phil must be real. My daughter's neighbors were on it and they had camera crews over there a lot and my daughter said that there was always major drama going on at their house before they were aired on Dr. Phil.

Judge Judy is a true judge and the baliff she uses on the show is a true baliff that she had even before she began her show. The show originally had an actor as the baliff but Judy insisted on using her own baliff. The producers of the show either get cases from people who go on their website or call their phone number or they go into small claims courts in New York and if the people involved in the case want to they can have their case on the show. I'm not sure about Divorce Court but Dr. Phil is a real relationship doctor.

YES, these people are real. They even get checked out first to be sure they are telling the truth. Jerry Springer type shows are not real but the rest are.
I would rather watch those shows than what they are passing off in prime time as entertainment. Talk about an insult to the average persons intelligence........

Yes they are real.Sad to say but you can see just how stupid humans really are when ever you watch the evening news or these talk shows.TV court shows are just as bad. These people are what this country is made of.That's scary. We often wonder why people do the things they do or make the choices they make. When things go wrong and life gets tough they sit back and wonder why this is happening. This is the majority of our population.

I'm afraid all those people are really on there. In the court shows people get paid to go on there. so it's usussally the people that need the money the most go on. As for the talk show i have no clue why people would want to broadcast there problems. I guess to raise awairness. now jerry springer is a different story: 15 minutes of fame

some of it is real and some of it is just entertainment, none of them are actors they are real ppl who want their 5 minutes of fame. depends on the show though, shows like divorce court an judge judy those ppl are real with real problems but the outcome and the way the judge acts isnt the way judges act in real life and i'm not sure that the solution given is a real solution. judge hattchett is real though. shows like jerry springer that is complelty fake.

I think it's real but dramatized by the t.v. shows to make it juicy. I can't stand Dr. Phil! What an idiot. Those shows are garbage and I can't believe people actually watch it!

Yes they are real, and my husband and I wonder about people who don't mind being humiliated on national TV.

But I do find court shows interesting!
