He has impressed me as a player and as a motivator.

I'm not a VA Tech fan, but he is noteworthy in my book. He carries that team.

I'm not insinuating that Ill. didn't hurt themselves, I guess I just watch players reactions and actions more than most viewers. Washington was always urging his teammates on and trying to keep them pumped up.

I just happen to like to see that in a player....he may have made a pretty shot, but keeping his teammates motivated won the game for them.

Yes, he was the spark Tech needed on offense he got the big bank shot he fouled Randle at the right time and the right person and at least he went for the ball, and he did get the rebound at the end to force a game winning jumpball so yeah he did win for them

Illinois' failure to stop the 12-0 run and Randle missing the front end of the 1 & 1 that would have tied it at 54 (if he made both) won the game for VT. Complete meltdown
