If he is primarily right handed by the left handed glove just becuase he can throw now with the left now isn't that important. He will get stronger with his dominant hand in the long run.

Play catch with him and see which hand he naturally uses to throw. Then you will know if he is a righty or lefty. the glove you buy will go on the opposite one he throws with. Just ask anyone at the sporting goods store and they will be able to help you.

Give him a baseball and ask him to throw it. You watch what hand he throws it with then you buy the glove for the opposite hand.

Sounds like you have a gifted son. I'd give a lefty glove (meaning a glove for his right hand) a try if he throws better with his left arm.

If he is as ambidextrous as he sounds, I'd even try teaching him to switch hit as he gets older.

If he throws with his left, buy him a right handed glove. If he throws with his right, then make him throw with his left.
