We are in Canada with hot, but short summers. Baby is born the middle of June. The cute summer jackets are for 6 month babies, but it looks small..

In your experience are the '3 month' or '6 month' sizes acturate...?

I am a mom of 4 from Alberta. Old navy and gap fit a bit small, however when they are that young I think I would go with the 3-6 month sizes, they will definately get you through the summer. They might even be a bit big but you can always roll the sleeves.

Every brand has a different sizing chart. 0-3 months in Zara, for example, is the same size as 3-6 in Gap. Also, keep in mind that you don't know how big your baby is going to be yet. My son was born three weeks early at 9lbs2oz, and didn't fit into a lot of the 0-3 clothes.

That depends on so many things, like whether the baby is born on the small side or has a big growth spurt. Mine is two months and already fits into the 3 months and 3-6 month clothing because she's so long. I always think that buying big is better, because it's better they be roomy than too tight. Keep your reciepts and the tags to items just in case, but it's best to go a couple of months bigger than you'd think (I'd say three months at least if your baby will be born in June, but get a couple 0 to 3s and newborn outfits just in case!)

It depends on the baby, my son was 9 1/2 pounds when he was born. He was wearing 0-3 months for 6 weeks. 3-6 months until 3 months, then at 6 months he was in 6-9 months. At 9 months he was in 12 months, and now almost at a year he is wearing some 12 months and some 18 months.

*lol* Nope. Expect your baby to be born just barely fitting the 0-3month, and the 0-6 month to fit until about 3 months.

I would caution against buying any clothes for the first 6 months of your baby's life before you give birth. You will likely get way more clothes than you could possibly need from everyone else.

A better investment would be a fall jacket or a snowsuit if you can find them on sale.

Hi, it's always best to buy bigger. I am 5 mths preggo and i am buying only 3-6 months, i bought only 1 newborn size. I think i'll only get a couple more. 3-6 mths , is slightly bigger, but the babies grow so fast, before you know it , the clothes will fit perfectly. Congrats! I am due 2 months after you!

Elijah Mark is coming 8/3/7!!!!!!

If your baby is "average" for size, the store sizes should fit like they say. It is better value to buy a bit big, you get longer out of them and if your baby is long it will fit better. If you have a warm summer, looser, bigger clothes will feel more comfortable for bubs. And they can always grow into them if the clothes are too big. Have fun shopping!

Think ahead. My son wear between 6month clothes and 12 months. 12 months are big but 6 months are almost smug. Id say hed wear a 9 month or 12 months.

It depends on who makes the clothes. Some brands are accurate and others are not. Try not to buy too many of one size. Get a variety of sizes.

good day! i think of you need to purchase the midsection one.. no longer too huge and not too small.. new child toddlers advance very rapid so which you mustn't purchase the smallest. no longer the main important too using fact she would be uncomfortable with that. we've a somewhat heat climate right here interior the philippines, i sugest which you purchase a similar toddler's outfits that we've right here like sleeveless and short sleeves. purchase many sleeveless and few longsleeves for slumbering at nighttime. additionally, choose mild colours. i chosen organic white outfits for my toddler. all white could be extra appropriate. :) additionally, i recommend dont use disposable diapers interior the mornings in case you will only stay at abode. only use it at nighttime whilst she sleeps. use cotton or gauze washer-friendly cloths. its stable for summer and to stay away from rashes.
