I love anime and I recently just finish the Trinty Blood series. (Which by the way was totally awesome!) Anyway a friend suggest that I should watch Hellsing in that the two series are suppose to be similar to one another. I researched it a little, but I can't make up mind to watch it. So I decided that I'll watch it depending on how many "yes" I get from all of you. So, should I?

Yes you should and after that I recommend Black Blood Brothers which is an anime very similar to Trinity Blood.

Hellsing is an alright anime to watch. The plot is appealing and the art is good (gorgeous in the OVA), but there are some minor details that seem off. Some of these include animation errors or some actions that seem impossible even for that anime's world. If you are an extreme stickler for the absolute-best quality anime and criticize every small detail, you may not enjoy it. Yet, if you merely just want to watch it for pure entertainment, I would recommend it. Also, the OVA closely follows the original story in the manga, whereas the TV series deviates from it. If you want the original plot, watch the OVA.

What's the harm in watching it? Seriously? It's 12 episodes long.
Plus an OVA that's only coming out now. I, personally, can't wait to get my paws on hellsing ultimate.
I think Hellsing is great and that you should watch it but that's only really because I have a love affair with the entire characterization of Integra. Hell, I'd tell you to watch the series just for her.

Yes, it is a great anime and in my opinion, is better than Trinity Blood. Here is the plot:
The basic concept of the series concerns a secret British government organization called Hellsing. This organization was formed several hundred years ago by either Abraham van Helsing or his descendants to fight vampires across Britain.
It doesn't follow Alucard (the first character introduced, and a major part of Hellsing), but the police woman that he makes a vampire to save her life in the first episode.

Hellsing is not the same as Trinity Blood, but it is a very cool, well drawn and amazing anime. So, give it a try ^-^

you tube will have some episodes english dubbed. You can always ask around with your friends if anyone has a copy or would be happy to download and burn it for you.
