That's an easy one! Men know men! Your brother knows how he would be himself and it scares him to know that everything he is capable of is exactly what another man is capable of doing to you!

Igrew up with 3 sisters Iam the only boy and it's like someone hitting on your mom kinda but once a boy grows up they ten to enjoy talking with the one person that makes your sis, feel like a queen when that happens a switch turns on and you star to really appreciate it.....on the other hand if any body new or comes up to me and says your sisters hot or whatever hey that makes me feel good because i then think well she is my sister so imust be all-right I was raised by lots of women from my mama Meta's to my sister, maturity is the key, if your bro cant do it maybe he has some dirt on the guy!! now that's a different story all together...kitchen look me up if ican help out more ok...stay cool... do not fight it until you have all the variables which is key!!!

Because they know how guys think and know what guys might be thinking about you when you are dating and they don't want that for their sisters. They are being protective of you. It's very sweet when they care that much!
My advise is if you want your brothers to approve, have the guy start hanging around with your brothers around. If they start liking him, they will probably have less of a problem if you date him.

Its a male trait to protect their females, whether its a girlfriend, mom sister, cousin or whatever. It is part of their masculinity to protect women they love. Nothing wrong there.

I guess it is the fact that sice they are"men" they think they have a right over their sisters. plus most know how guys are like , most of them are those guys but you wouldnt want your bro with a slut.. would u ?
