Buy an ovulation kit at the pharmacy. The instructions will tell you how to monitor when you ovulate and when to have sex in order to conceive. Good luck!

P.S.: What's with the hostility? We are supposed to help each other out here... :)

You may not like what I am about to say but...here goes. I was 1 of those women who got pregnant just by passing my husband in the same room. I honestly believe that you must take the focus off wanting too get pregnant and just enjoying the intimacy when you and hubby are together.

A friend used too get frustrated with me every time I would tell her that I was expecting, because she had been trying for years and nothing happened. She checked out fine with her doctor and basically, he told her the same thing as I; "stop trying so hard"!! Life will dictate when it is time!!

I had run into her a few months after my conversation with her. She was running at me screaming and without even being told, I "knew" what her news was. She now has 3 girls!! You just have too trust that it will happen when it is supposed to!! Enjoy the moment, don't make it a job!!

You need to be sure you are having unprotected sex at the time you ovulate. If you have sex on day 12-16 of your cycle you will increase your chances of conceiving. Keep in mind that it takes the average couple 5 months of unprotected intercourse before getting pregnant. If your under the age of 35 waiting a year before consulting an infertility specialist is reasonable. If your over the age of 35 then it would be reasonable to seek medial advice after 6 months. Best of luck!!

Well the best way is to have sex before, after, and during your ovulation time. Your ovulation time is around 14 days before you are scheduled to start your period again. You can also get Ovulation Predictor Test, its just like a pregnancy test, just pee on the stick and will determine if you are ovulating. Stay laying down for 30 minutes or longer after you have sex. Sperm can live inside of you for days. I know its hard but try to not worry about and before you know it, it will happen. Best of Luck!!

When my husband and I decided we were ready to have a baby, we bought ovulation tests and many, many books on how to get pregnant. We tried for about 7 months and nothing was happening. We knew that neither one of us was infertile so we decided to stop thinking about it. Once we stopped stressing out about it and let it just happen we got pregnant in two months. In one of the books that I read the most common opinion was to try to come when he comes. Something about the hormones makes it easier.Good luck.

Have lots of sex, even when you are menstruating. Also see your doctor just to make sure nothing is amiss.
