if i can put the music on my mp3 player then whats the difference between yahoo music and yahoo music to go

The answer to your orignal question is No. YMU by itself lets you download to your PC and play from your PC. The next higher level of service, YMU To Go, is what lets you transfer the music to your compatible mp3 player and play from there. I believe YMU To Go is $8.99 per month. That IS the difference between the two services.
