in this game when you are trying to get to princess zelda's castle how do you get past the guards around the area of the rock wall gate? I already have the weird egg that turned into a rooster.

Its been a long time but I believe you are talking about the gate right at the beginnning
you need to back track a little bit on a the wall you should see a vine. climb it and make your wall inside the control unit(which controls the gate, but you dont actually open the gate)
p.s. make sure its night time
but if I am wrong and you are past that(if you are past that part and right by the moat. you just need to wait for the sun to fall, quickly run off the ledge ( you will roll into the moat and you will run with the current to the other side)

there should be vines, by the girl, climb up, jump off the right side of the gate, stick to the right until the dead end. cut across the front lawn diagnolly towards the very left of the castle, climb up a small rock wall. drop into the moat ( water), swim all the way around to the right side where the father is sleeping, use the rooster at the beginning of a day.

there is a girl after the first night. to her left are some vines climb the middle to the top of the rock wall walk to the gate climb down the ladder into a room with a door walk thru the door you are now in the castle

climb the vines then you have to sneak past all the guards..if one sees you you have to start over. each are 90% blind so its pretty easy.
then slowely make your way across behind all the guards.. there will be two by a entrance you have to jump in the water to the left and behind them they will see you otherwise.
then you reach a man sleeping. use the rooster to wake him and he goes back tothe ranch.
push the two crates into the moat and use them to reach the water spout thing.
from there sneak past the guards adn you finally come upon zelda

u climb up the vine near the castle town entrance and find urself around then show the rooster 2 the sleepy guy
