How much could I expect to make over the summer operating a party tent rental business?

Yes there is money in it but not that much unless you have a wide variety of them.

You might specialize in suppling craft fair people with tents at a low rate. That is one area no one ever covers. If it was cheap enough I would leave mine at home and let you have the hassle
