Well it depends on you.
does it seem too long for you?
are you getting impatient?
Do you like him ALOT?
Then it also depends on him.
Are you forcing him?
or does it seem like he just don't want to answer?
Well if you is getting you mad or something either stay and wait for his reply or leave him and go find someone new.
If he is making you sad or depressed.
Tell him to just tell you yes or no, because if you hold it all in at the end its going to be really hard but to me, it just depends on how much you two really like each other and how much patience there is.

I don't be navie he's doesn't intend to go out with you. He's flirting is just playing a game with you because he knows you like him. If he liked you the same way he would have went out with you five months ago. Find someone worth it!! Good Luck!

Well, it would have been a lot better if it was like 5 days. 5 months though?? That's kind of odd if he is interested. Sounds like he gained any control when he said "maybe". Who says "maybe"!!?!!?? I would say ditch the idea. Guy sounds like a tool to me -- maybe he is gay.
