It might, but it is probably a small risk . The active ingredient is acetominophen (aspirin) which can usually be taken safely during pregnancy in smaller doses. Some women even take a low dose aspirin when doing IVF to combat any possible known or unknown clotting factors that may negatively impact implantation. That said, each Midol capsule has a 500mg dose, which is considerably higher that the 81mg low dose recommended by doctors. If you tend to bleed (or bruise) easily, Midol will amplify this effect. This thinning of the blood may sometimes cause implantation problems, or miscarriage in severe cases.
Midol also has caffeine, which has been proven to decrease fertility in women. So there are a few negative things that might slightly impair your fertility. That said, many women use aspirin while pregnant and TTC with success, and it is definitely a preferable alternative to ibuprofen, which has proven negative effects on pregnancy.
My recommendation is, if you are having problems TTC, avoid any medications, including Midol, that are not absolutely necessary. Every little bit helps. If you must take a medication to function, use it as sparingly as possible. Good luck!
