Spaghetti. I throw my noodles at the wall to see if they are done. When they stick to the wall I know it's done.

Condensed milk. Trust me, I've done it. I tried to make caramel by boiling a can of it but I didn't know you had to let it cool down before you opened it so when I put the can opener in it exploded all over me and the kitchen. Sticky AND burny. Not my greatest moment.
