It depends on the actual store, so really, you'll have to ask that store's manager, but yes, the busiest days are usually Friday's and Saturdays, plus holidays. If you want to work only on Sunday's and holidays, you might have a good chance seeing as how there's probably someone who works a lot of Sunday's but would rather have them off. If you really want to up your chance and getting a job there though, I would recommend opening your schedule up to maybe at least one more day during the week. But really, you should talk to the store's manager or even an associate (if you know one) to find out what they're looking for.

I don't have personal experience with Blockbuster but I can't imagine many jobs hiring you to only work one day. Now I know that you can work seasonally for many jobs. All you can do is ask Blockbuster. You could ask if they have temp positions. Even then you'd have to work more than one day. Temps usually work more than part-time employees! But I can't imagine them going through the trouble of hiring you only for Sunday. If they did hire you for only a day (which I doubt they would), believe me it would be the day THEY picked. The busiest. LOL!

The best way to find out is to ask your local blockbuster. But I don't see this happening from any company honestly. They wouldn't get enough work from you only working once a week. If you're gonna work, try to become a true employee and at least get benefits. If you can't work more because of a disability or something then this may change things. Just go check. Even disabled people work everyday though.

Good luck to you!
