Every time I open Window's WORD program I have to click on "View", then select "Header & Footer" in order for it to appear on screen. I've never set it to be so but one day, for no apparent reason they dissapeared. I'd like it to be like it WAS... Before this happened they were always opened,, please help.

It will only appear if you manually add it. And you can only see it in print preview. And it will go away every time you open a new word page. The only thing you could do is save a generic page were you set your header and footer than save that page. And then you could always just open that file and add to it. Than save it as something else. I hoped this helped.

I think I understand your question, maybe you mean the function doesn't work anymore. In that case, you should try to create a new file from an older one that has "header and footer". By the way, you can always see it (when you activate the function), not only in Print View. If I'm right and I understood your question do the following:
Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.
This will restore the settings of your PC to an earlier time (be sure the time you choose is appropriated to solve the problem). I have done this many times before with my PC and it works. Read the instructions and you won't have problems using this function.
