When I start Sims 2 Body shop on my laptop I get the error message:
Direct3D returned an error: D3DERR_INVALIDCALL.

I've installed the DirectX 9.0 as well as the latest driver for my graphic chip. My display adapter is:
Mobile Intel 945GM/GU express Chipset Family

My IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers are:
Intel 82901 G (ICH7 Family) Ultra ATA Storage Controllers - 27 DF

Intel 82801 GBM SATA AHCI Controller

and
Primary IDE Channel.

What else can I do so Body Shop will start. Thanks in advance for the help.

Your laptop cannot handle the program, as it needs a specific video card to run sims 2 body shop.

Body shop will not start unless your computer (laptop) meets the requirements.

This concern likely befell after a detachable force (eg. a compact flash force) that grow to be no longer loaded with a disk, grow to be mistakenly attempted to open. Infact, it somewhat is the way it occurred with me. Even gadget restore would not restoration the undertaking. whether, in case you know which detachable force it grow to be (Eg. force F), only disconnect that force out of your usb port, and your concern will disappear. This worked for me! After some days, reconnect the force and see what happens. i wish this would cut back the issues of many.

nah.. theres some wierd reason with the sims 2 body shop..
for some reason when it loads it for so long.. and i guess it gets so slow it gets tired of loadin it and it gives some bullshit error... but yeah mine dose that sometimes too..sometimes it wont load.. sometimes it will.. jus restart and try it.. and dont run anything.. so that ur graphics driver wont be loadin alot or sumden.. and load it better....

good luck
