hurricanes run in cycles - looks to be tied to El Nino

We've been on a busy cycle throughout most of my life. it should change in the next decade or so.

But heck, last year was a real break for us.
Maybe this year will be too. I'll have to ask

go to the National Hurricane Web Site....www.noaa.nhc.gov....and you'll see that.......duh da duh!

decreasiing in the last 20 years

most active period was 1940-1950

global warming has nothing to do with it

Increased due to global warming, the sea temperature is rising causing hurricanes to form and roll off the west coast of Africa.
