Hernia's are basically your bowels portruding through the inner lining of your stomach. If it's not reducable(if you can't poke it back in) or if it becomes strangulated you would need immediate medical attention. If you have problems with your bowel movements or severe pain at the site go to the ER. I would ask the doctor if you could have it repaired with a spinal block this early in the pregnancy.

it extremely is plenty long adequate for it to heal. I had inguinal hernia restoration actual a month before than concieving and it even had time to heal. inspite of the incontrovertible fact that, I do even nevertheless have alot of soreness from the scar tissue so as which would be what you're experiencing. additionally, inguinal is in yet another place so umbillical is likewise yet another impediment. My wager is though, that it is only scar tissue. stable success!

I have an umbilical hernia. I had it through all of my pregnancies (five of them) and it did get a little worse but not enough to have to have surgery. Everyone is different.......good luck I hope yours doesn't get any worse.

Mine did but then *poof* the pain went away. When you give birth just make sure that they keep an eye on it.
