being an only child I never had anyone to blame stuff on. I broke a ceramic statue from denmark at my mom's friends house when I was a kid, had to own up to that. I'm still pretty clumsy. had a roommate break my good blender 5 or 6 years ago, she just left it there and didn't tell me she broke it. dumbass.
