my ps2 cant read God Of War 2?

i JUST bought this game,and i had my ps2 for about 3 months
so i pop it in and it wont read it,i try it again about 3 or 4 more times,still wont read it,i try my other games,they read just fine,so i return the game and get a new one,samethings happen,is my PS2 or what?

Recently, the same thing has happend to me also. I had just bought a brand new game from a store, and whenever I put the disk in the ps2 it says "disc can not be read". Correct? You might need to take your ps2 back to either get it cleaned, return it, or you can return the game. Try cleaning your disk. It might be the ps2, since when I took back my ps2 to get cleaned, all of my games worked. I hope this helped!

I'm not sure, but just in case, blow on the disk drive (the part of the PS2 that takes the disk). Don't spit on it, or it'll ruin the game and the PS2. Just try blowing dust off of the disk drive (if there is any.) Hope I help.
