I recently got my ears pierced again for the second time, the first time round i got an infection...due to the steel/nickel in the earring and so i had to let them close up. It's been about 3 years since that happened so i decided to get them pierced again in a different spot about 4 weeks ago. They are fine, but a few days ago i got hair caught up in my right earring so i had to take the stud out so i could remove the hair but i quickly put it back in, do you think this will affect my piercing because you're not supposed to take it out? =/
I am still able to rotate the studs fine. I'm just a little worried incase i get another infection or something.

PLEASE advice is appreciated =]

no, just make sure you keep them clean.

Prevention of Infection
There are several precautions you can take to prevent infection of the pierced area and encourage healing.

* Always wash your hands with soap and water before touching the pierced area or jewelry to keep bacteria from your hands away from the piercing site. Keeping the pierced area clean is the most important way to prevent infection.

* Cleanse the piercing site with appropriate solution as frequently as recommended for that particular site, and for the full length of time recommended for healing. (See third paragraph.)

* Keep pierced area free of chemicals such as perfume, hair spray or hair gel. After showering, rinse the pierced area with clear water to remove soap or shampoo residue.

* Do not hold a public telephone against a newly pierced ear. Clean your telephone frequently with a disinfectant.

* Following ear or facial piercing, be sure your pillowcase is clean and changed frequently.

* A gauze pad or cotton swab can be used to clean crusts from around the jewelry. Use a new swab for each piercing site. Jewelry should be rotated once or twice while applying solution during each cleaning.

* Earrings should not be removed or changed for at least a month, and should be worn continually for the first 4 to 6 months. Other piercing sites may require more specific care.

I highly doubt removing the earring for a few seconds will infect the piercing. But to avoid infection, I would clean the earrings and your ears regularly with the disinfectant proper for newly-pierced ears. Good luck, and good health!

it extremely is in basic terms a piercing, can no longer you wait till your sixteen? you are able to harm you mothers and dads emotions in case you circulate in the back of their backs. No i does not harm. there is extra of a great gamble of your ears getting contaminated in case you get it pierced with a gun, it extremely is optimal to get it achieved with a needle (frightening i comprehend) even in spite of the shown fact that it extremely does not harm, for a split 2d it hurts a tiny bit yet then the ear is going numb. Gok Wan has stretched ear lobes, so except your making plans to stretch your ears, i might choose for the stud. stable good fortune on despite you choose.

it probably didn't happen since you did it so quickly but be sure to like dab your earlobes with rubbing alcohol or something.. keep them clean and don't mess with them so much so you won't get an infection.
