I need some helpful ideas and advise for a romantic date for my wife and I. We are in our late 20's, eairly 30's and enjoy sports and outdoors, music, movies, and fine dining. I am planning it for this weekend and I would like it to be special.
I only have part of Saturday and Saturday night. We are going to a baseball game Sunday as a family with our six year old son, so sporting event may be out of the question. I'm trying not to do the same old dinner, movie or dinner, dancing, few drinks type date. Thanks for your help.

how about a dinner cruise? check with your 411, its not that pricey and very romantic. Dinner while cruising for a couple of hours, watching the sunset and the sceneries....and share some dessert, with some nice wine...
Than when you get back to port, take some time walking down the waterfront, apprecaiting each others company...
Since the mood will now be set, and very romantic.....don't ruin it by going to a bar or dancing or to movies...
instead, how about alittle surprise, like getting a nice room in the city, champaign, strawberries, nice slow romantic music, get the top floor, so she and you can enjoy the nite lights of the city, and than from there, I'm sure you'll know wat do to next....romantic mood, with just the right music.......show her how much you love her....

I guess I would focus on what she would like to do if you were in her shoes. Most anything you decide to do giving her your attention will make the day special no matter what you do. I am not sure the weather there at the moment but a picnic is nice and quiet and alone after going for a walk maybe give her a rose also and tell her how much you love her and end it with a movie holding her hand. Let her know shes very important and you love her forever.

You could stay at a resort for the night, [or exclusive hotel] swimming in the pool, then order up dinner and watch some good tv, you'll be comfortable and it will be fun. For instance in eastern Va. there is Massanuttin ski resort, it also has nice indoor water park. There are many other resorts where you can stay for a night, and mabey walk to a quaint town nearby. In New England there are beautiful 'bed and breakfasts' and sometimes museums and tourist sights nearby.

If it's nice in your neck of the woods, pack a picnic, take a drive and spend the day together in the park, or a nice setting. Pack a few flowers, and hold hands and all that cute stuff! You could also go to a nice area and make out in the car...You gotta do cute, little things to keep things exciting. I know I like it when we go for drives...It's different and kinda risky! What did you two used to do together when you first met? Do that! I'm sorry, but I hope everyone else has something better than this!

If you don't have time to get out and enjoy yourselves fix the house up romantically. Get some candles and Bubblebath and cook your wife a nice warm meal like a steak dinner. Enjoy your dinner and than get into the tub and enjoy each other without having anybody around. She'll cherish that.

Take her to a Hotel or B and B. If you can get one by some water you can take a stole by. Bring a bottle of wine and a cd player with some sexy music. If you are into adult toys go buy something and bring it along as well. Maybe, wheather permitting making love outside on your walk [bring a blanket]. As a gift maybe a gift certificate to a day spa. A mushy card that says how much you love her.

What about a romantic picnic? If you have mountains nearby you could go up there or just choose a really quiet place in the early evening. Pack bread, cheese, wine/champagne, strawberries, or any of her favorite foods. You can plan a bike ride or hike beforehand too if you want. Good luck!

I think that it is nice to have a massage for both of you at the same time, then some relaxing near the water with some nice food and wine.

If you like the outdoor I guess depending on where you live you can take her camping for the night. That would be my dream getaway. The two of us under the stars, with a camp fire .... Yea that would be nice!
