Of course Duke will win its 17th straight title. I know Duke was beaten in the opening round but that loss won't matter next year when Dickie V. is again hyping the program as the greatest ever. "The New York Yankees of college basketball," Dickie V. will shout breathlessly. The difference, sir, is the Yankees actually have won more championships on the field than anyone else. Duke still has a way to go to catch the likes of UCLA, Kentucky and Indiana. But those three aren't on ESPN twice weekly. So while the rest of us are watching Florida (or Ohio State, Texas, UCLA, Georgetown, North Carolina or some other worthy) win the title, Duke will be winning it all in Dickie V's world of hyperbole. And Mike Patrick will believe him.

Don't sleep on the Tar Heels! The bench: deeper than an Ayn Rand novel, talent and ability that, well is characteristic of Carolina. Oh, also, for the romantics, this is the 25th year anniversary of when Micheal Jordan set the standard for basketball in the contemporary era! The country eyed Illinois as being the champions in 2005 and we saw what happened.

Georgetown over Oregon. George town is just too on fire and too big for any team on their side of the bracket. Oregon just gets hot and their guards Aaron Brooks and Tajuan Porter take over. Even though the lack of experience in NCAA basketball, let alone March Madness in Tajuan Porter. Aaron Brooks becomes a even better leader down the stretch too. Be aware of a potential UNLV vs. Memphis in the championship. Memphis Tigers are hungry and UNLV is loving destroying our brackets.

Not only is it the 25th anniversary of UNC beating G'town for the title, it is also the 50th anniversary of UNC beating Kansas with Wilt "the Stilt" Chamberlain for the 1957 championship game. So far the Heels haven't played a complete game in the tourney and still are winning. If they can get all the cylinders firing, the Heels will cut down the nets.

It's gonna be between the Ohio State Buckeyes and Kansas Jayhawks. The Jayhawks have between a 50 and 75% chance of winning.
