I'm sick today (cold & fever). I miss the girl who broke up with me a few years ago. Do you miss someone more when you're sick ? Whom do you miss ?

I miss my grandmother. She was so comforting when I was sick. She would take good care of me. My grandma would tuck me in bed, check my temp often, bring me fresh tissues, and the best thing was that she would make me homemade chicken noodle soup and Jello water ( any flavor I wanted ). I miss that.
Now that Im an adult and she has passed away, I find myself crawling in my bed which is covered in tissues and if I find the need to eat something its soup from a can.

My daughter, when I was sick a couple of weeks ago, I really missed her, she left home a while ago, but the house became such a mess, nobody in the house did the washing, so when I recovered I had several days of washing to catch up on, it made me ill again.
My daughter would have made sure the washing was done, I didn't only miss her because the washing wasn't day, I missed her company, she would have come upstairs to make sure I was comfortable every half hour or so, her presence was really missed by me.

It's because now you have extra time to think about all the things you want and the things you miss. I do though... I feel bad about breaking up with people, and feel like i am of no significance to this world, but by the time I am better, i realize that it was the right choice, and that I am just here to make other people happy
so go talk to the girl, and check if it truly was the right choice to do that... but if you chose that you like her.. dont get her sick... that would so suck

I think that happens because when you are sick, you are more likely to feel depressed since you already don't feel good. Mind & body tend to go together like that... But no.. I have the one person that I actually can miss with me nearly all the time, so no.
