Would you marry the same mate? Would You chose a Different Profession?

Yes, to both questions.
I'd realize that love is NOT enough, and that money does matter--even more respect for the person you marry matters.

I'd have gone to college despite the fact my guidance counselor told me I could not, have gotten an undergraduate degree in Literature and a Master's in Library Science.
Instead I divorced 3 times and have spent 38 years in a profession I dislike.

Now I say, when I retire I will ... I hope I stay healthy enough. If only our lives were lived backwards, so we started out with all the wisdom, like Mork proposed.

i'd go with love and gone to school even though I thought I couldn't afford it. I'm going now and almost done but it's not the school or the state I want to live in and I married for all the wrong reasons.
