I sometimes ignore my first impressions because I want them to be different than the truth, but sometimes I get confused on which is which. So I really do trust my first impressions but then again I don't. I should have known my last boyfriend was a piece of crap because he cut me off while I was driving and was smoking (not cigs ) but then he did something sweet and I fell in "love". Well, a lost car, cat, entire cd and dvd collection, and apartment later...I realized I should've paid attention to my first impression.

Yes...I trust my first impressions...I am right 99% of the time.
The other 1% I am let down either because I thought someone was a better person than they turned out to be or because I gave someone really cool the shaft. But, I will own up to it when I am wrong.

Nope definitely not, I do trust my second impressions though.=)
I always seem to say or do the wrong thing the first time I meet somebody. It's almost like I have a curse or something. Maybe that's how everyone feels like though when they meet someone for the first time.

Well i have found it is not the impression it's the feeling. The brain some times tricks the heart, when both work in unison you know you are correct. If you have a nagging from either time to stand back

Usually. I guess most people amplify certain characteristics in order to fit in. Or make an impression.
All i can say is, I only know if im correct after a couple of beers.
Mostly though, it's all in the eyes. They can't lie.

No, I don't always trust my first impression.
For instance, people who don't use Spell Check, and use those silly and annoying Cyber Abbreviations give the impression of being twelve years old, but that's not always true.
