What are some good outfit ideas for a teenager?

I'm looking for some outfit ideas for a teen. I don't want anything too weird, but something a little different that looks beyond cool. You know how you just see some girl's clothes and you thing "they try too hard", and then you see the "effortlessly cool" girl. I'm looking for effortlessly cool. Not just basic stuff, like tanks and tees, because I already can do that, but if you have different ways to wear them. THanks!

I'm not really into the whole legging thing. I'm not fat or anything, just in my town its kind of mocked.

i love CLOTHES! hehe okay...well remeber when people used to wear dresses to school...later 2007 and 2008, its coming back...so i would get ahead everybody and start the trend in school. I'm not talking about formal winter dresses, but cute sundresses...and add a big belt with it..SO ADORABLE...plus if its a really short dress throw a pair of leggins under it. So cute...people have already started wearing that stuff at my school...hmm let me think of other things..if you have nice legs..then skinny jeans with brown boots over it and like a long shirt with a chunky brown belt over it...that would be cute..

I would suggest avoiding the typical trends of teen fashion, and start with some thrift store and vintage shopping. Even a small accessory to an ordinary outfit can really make an ensemble quite fashionable--for instance, a cute, 70's house dress over a fitting shirt and jeans with a nice pair of funky shoes not only look nice, but feel comfortable. And layering is also an adorable style. Good luck, and be yourself!

first, a pair of any converse shoes are great :D
i have brown ones and orange ones, &&i wear them all the time. Next, wear regualar plain old jeans. The skirts with the leggings don't always look so great.. & are overworn.
Then, wear tshirts from ur favorite stores(ae, hollister, abercrombie, etc.) && maybe a cute sweater. Another Important thing is your jewelry. Find a cute pair of earrings: not too big, not too small. It depends on what shape your face is and how long your hairs is... so find a pair (hoops?) that look cute<3. next, if your wearing an open neck shirt, wear a cute dangling necklace... && if ur wearing a Tshirt.... chokers look great ;D. Make sure you're not trying to look a certain way... but just YOU! :D hoppe that helps!

try wearing black leggings under a denim skirt and a graphic tee, for accessories wear a cute plain head band, carry a tote bag and wear ballet flats. this look is cute and casual. :)

Dress in something that is comfortable to wear and that you as a person feel comfortable in. If you are wearing it just to be flashy and you don't feel comfortable or right in it, it isn't for you.

get a mini dress and wear tight jeans under it. wear it with wedges, hoop earings and a big chunky belt and a long necklace. hope this works!
