No, it is not illegal, nerds just want you to think that the only right way to think/act is exactly like them. I'm not in favor of Nazis, but I am just as much against stupid as.ses who try to censor your thoughts and ideas.

In the US, no. Because (except in rare case) we do not make it a crime simply to belong to an organization or hold any particular political or social beliefs. You actually have to do something against the law before you become a criminal.

Nazism is not illegal per se but many are against it because of what happened in Germany during the time of Hitler.
