Someone said that it dosen't tear just stretches.

It really depends on both the man and the woman. If you are the type who has a smaller "entrance", then you are likely to tear. There are women in whom it just stretches.
It also depends on the size of the man who is with you. If he has a thick tool, you are very likely to tear. If it is like a pencil, you may hardly notice it :-)
Why are you asking? Are you worried about it?

first off, now-a-days, the girls are so active that the hymen usually breaks (tears) long before they have their first episode of intercourse. As a general rule, the hymen is a paper thin membrane that cover the entry into the vagina...with some girls it is thicker and once in a while it has to be surgically incised so that it can be open...
but, riding a bike, riding a horse, inserting a tampon (or other objects) usually tears the hymen...

It can tear. It can hurt. But, as with all things, the worst case scenerio gets the most press. Often enough, it doesn't hurt, the sex is enjoyable and there's a limited amountof blood. But sometimes it's painful and ut tears and it's not enjoyable. Only one way to find out... good luck!

Tear, Break, Stretch All words that describe the membrane called the hymen.
If you have it now, after you have intercourse, it will be gone. or very little of it left, around the opening of your vagina.

Depends. Some girls don't have a hymean or they are too small. Sometimes you tear your hymean even with a tampon... It tears but its not like it hurts!
