Lol...Well sometimes the ugly people look goodlooking in the eyes of their partner no matter what the looks are some people like the personality better.
As for me I wont lie I want someone I think is attractive. Theres nothing wrong with that. As long as the personality is good too.

How true! I've always said this. Plus, unless a guy is attractive, you probably won't get to know his personality. There has to be some sort of attractiveness to get you started in the relationship direction.

Unfortunately, that's what happens between men and woman. I always look for a great outgoing personality. Only shallow people will look for looks and best clothing etc... I think it just depends on the person looking. If he/she is confident and feels good about themselves they will not need to feed into their own ego. Beauty starts in the heart and I will always live with that belief.

While I agree that most people would not take the time to get to know somebody that they aren't attracted to, I have also found that some people become more attractive once you get to know them. My friend dated a guy that I thought was ugly, once I new him he beame cute because he had a great personalitly.

I think different people have different ideas as to what attractive is... some people that I think are butt ugly, others like.. some that I like, others think are ugly.. Its all a matter of taste. I have seen some unique combinations. I can tell you that I was not totally attracted to my first bf but as time went on and I got to know him better and better, his looks werent as important.

is it really looks that matter or is it that two people have a connection and love each other.
i think that is the dumbest thing ever if looks is all that matters to someone when picking a mate then you would have a much higher divorce rate than there already is

Of course they matter, but it's the personality that makes you keep them around. Would you date a gorgeous guy that smacked you around a few times? ..i think not.
