In photoshop
File>Save for web
Except if it's different than in Windows...

Assuming you have photoshop and it wasn't a PSD given by a colleague or something, go file>save for web and choose JPG. Do /not/ use file>save as, it will be a horrible huge uncompressed file.

Use SAVE AS and change it to a JPG
