Just be aware of what you're seeing whenever you wipe after going to the bathroom - even if it's just peeing. Just before, during and after ovulation you should see a greater quantity of mucus and you will probably also have general feelings of being wet or even feel "slippery" when you wipe. After a bowel movement is a really good time to check.

Some women also touch their finger to whatever they wipe off - that way they can see how stretchy that day's mucus is. The very stretchy stuff means you are in a very fertile time.

not sure when exactly is the best time but it is a good idea to check a few times throughout the day as it may change
