Only while I am working at it. I can't stand clutter in my kitchen.
Although there is a large side table in my livingroom that just seems to breed clutter.

Yesssssssss.....I use it to do dressmaking, write letters, read books, paint pictures, play games with the grandchildren, sort out the shopping,
It seems that as fast as I clear it, looks so nice, with just a bowl of fruit on it, it seems to be like a magnet to everything and everyone!!!
It is true what they say, the kitchen is the heart of the house, and the table sits in the middle I guess.

My whole house is cluttered with bits and pieces. No matter how hard I try to keep it clean I have 3 kids all under 7. I clean they mess. GRRRRRR

Actually, my kitchen table is always clean !!
I guess that's just a habit that came from Mom & Dad... like the kitchen table itself

have a small antique table with a lace tabelcloth usually 1 of the 3 cats are there nothing else

No, mine is always clean. I have fresh flowers on my table.

sometimes, right now a scramble game, munchies and laughter. Other times, bills, everything that comes home with the kids and doesn't find it's own why to where it belongs.

yes...and cats. they sit on the table to look out the window. We don't eat off it, though. We graze or sit in the living room in front of the tv to eat.
