from internet explorer, go to tools, internet options, general, and then under browsing history hit the delete button

Click the box at the toolbar with the clock and arrow icon. There, you'll c a list of all your recently visited sites. Sorted by date. right click on a website and click delete.

If you're talking about the list that pops up under boxes (such as Google, Yahoo, etc) when you are typing, just hit the down arrow until it's highlighted, then hit your delete button.
