Yes, but only if you love to dance. It is not possible to do too many things seriously - there isn't enough days in the week. So if you love one of them, eventually you end up giving up other things. I like sports as well, but I like dance more. So now I'm doing sports and fitness evry now and then to make myself better at dancing.

if it truely makes you happy, then yes. if you really love dancing, it's something that you are not just going to be doing until the end of the year. If you take it and continue in the long run, then go for it. if you feel like you want to do the other sports more than dance then forget it. people can't tell you what to love, it's only for you to figure it out. good luck!

i started dancing when i was two and i started competing in fourth grade. i've given EVERYTHING up for dance including soccer, piano, art classes, ice skating, gymnastics, lacrosse, tennis, basketball, track, band, and more. personally, i wish i hadn't given everything up. even though i absolutely love to dance, i really miss having time to do other activities. dance is extremely time consuming and i have gotten sick of it after so much. in your case, i would prioritize. do you really love dance above all other sports? consider taking recreational classes (ones that don't compete) at a studio so you would still be able to dance, but you would have time to do other things too.

If you love dancing, then I would say it is. The trill of performing is priceless. Try to be realistic and decide what you would want to remeber you high school experience by. In my opinion I would go to Natioals it's like a once in lifetime experience so take advantage of it.

Well. It really depends on how you look at it. It sounds to me that you would be a lot more well rounded if you gave up dance, but if you love it and you want to stick with it, you should.

it all depends. do u like dancing more than anything? or do u like ur other sports?
me, i would give up all the sports and do dancing, for u can all ways do the other sports, whenever u want. all u have to do is sign up for them. but dancing, thats tricky to get in, at least for me.

Ultimately that is your decision. If dancing is where your heart lies then yes, i believe its worth it. If you find your passion lies else where then you should pursue that instead.
