We live in a democracy where money speaks the loudest.
This is a battle of wills...a power struggle.......but I think the politicians will win at the end of the day. Not unless they can be bought of course!

I don't see how a jury will be found. So much has been written and said about the accident during the last 10 years, it will be impossible to find 12 people who have yet to have an opinion on the subject one way or the other. Considering there is no proof whatsover that the accident was pre-arranged and that all proof leads to it being an accident should mean no more enquiries. Mr Fayed is a grieving parent, his wealth and profile enabling him to drag this thing out for even longer.

I like the man, real guts to push against the authorities, and I'm sure emotionally wounded from the loss of his son.
He needs to be able to present some convincing evidence, as the person in charge has already publicly declared that there is nothing to go on, which is prejudicial to the results.
I wish him the best of luck! And some peace from the debris of it all.

This man has lost a son and vowed to fight on to find out why it happened and who done it as a lot of people have same opinion the the royals had some hand in it and they should be brought to justise .

I would fight beyond my grave in anyway possible to get to the bottom of such an incident - had it been as close to home for me as Mr.Alfayed - I agree entirely with his plight yet feel that the outcome will not be the truth - but at least he tries.

I loved Princess Diana but I genuinely believe she was killed by a drunk driver while not wearing a seat belt.
Also I think Al Fayed should respect her memory and let her rest in peace. He is like a dog with a bone she was hounded in and now in death.

don't think he's got much chance of getting royalty in the witness box though. it's good that someone's got the money and time to challenge the legal system but there are better things that the money could be used for.
