Are usps priority mail packages ship via air/airplane.?

By that i mean are Usps priority mail packages shipped from state to state by air in an airplane. And then delivered by truck.

Depends on how far they have to travel. For instance Houston to Dallas is about 200 miles - so they go by truck over night - it's only a 4 hour drive.

But if it's going to Denver, or New York - it flies.
