I do not think that your weight would effect your belly button. Normally what determines weather u have an "Innie" or an "outtie" is the way your abilical cord was cut and how it healed after birth
Belly button: The navel or umbilicus. The one-time site of attachment of the umbilical cord. The term "belly button" was coined around 1877.

Each and every person is different. Some have 'innies' and others have 'outties'.
When my sister was little though, hers stuck out and it was because of a hernia, only a doctor can tell you for sure if that's what your case is. Otherwise don't worry about it, it'll be a unique trait. Nothing to be concerned with.

Apparently when you were born, the doctor removed the umbilical cord from your belly and placed the belly plug backwards. So much for Scrubs!

I think outies are cute - I had one until after my first pregnancy & I miss it. it's all to do with the way the doctor cut it at birth. Think positively you wont get fluff in it. LOL
