Basically, have you been a fan of the past seasons of American Idol but this year find yourself turning the show off or just not caring about the outcome? Is it the show itself? The Top 12? The judges?

Ive been sick of it since the 3rd season. I only watch the first few episodes of the season cause its more interesting to hear the people who cant sing than the ones who can.....

I do enjoy watching, but now I'm beginning to wonder if this is just because it's a habit. I like some of the Idols, but the fact that Sanjaya made it this week just kind of makes me want to turn the TV off.
Plus what's with the homosexual banter between Simon and Ryan? Is Fox trying to attract a more diverse audience? It's just not really funny.

i've been a big fan of the show for the past 5 seasons, but this time i've been highly disappointed with the talent!!! only ones i like are melinda & lakeisha. i love simon's comments as a judge. paula is on something as she always is and the dawg comments from randy is getting OLD. i still like watching the show though.

I still like American Idol, but this season just does not have that great of contestants.

there replaced right into a time even as each united states had their personal television shows to entertain them even as it were given darkish then globilisation occurred and ruined the wolrd for all those those who couldnt provide a flying fig who were given voted off american idol!!

I'm proud to say that I've never watched a single episode, and still think it's brainless fluff created to show that Paula Abdul's still available.

yes i loved it last year and voted as much as i could i still watch it but find myseelf switching channel its just kind of boring
do u know what next week's theme is going to be?? i hope something exciting and i think its time 4 sanjay to go home

Yeah, but the novelty is wearing off and perhaps the integrity of the show, too. I mean..c'mon...is there really any "contest" this year?
