Do you think Mme Bovary would have been happier if she had been unattractive?

She wouldn't have married Charles. Rodophe wouldn't have used her. Justin wouldn't have given her poison. and so on.. What would the plot be like with Emma being unattractive?

I have no respect for Madam Bovary, she was grasping and selfish. I do not believe she would have been happy in any situation because she didnt appreciate anything.
