Oh, you bet I would.
In fact if I found one with the door closed I'd try to open it. I'd like nothing better than to meet an alien crew, especially if we could work out some way to communicate.

No way. Haven't you ever watched Cops, when they have the bait car, and when somebody steals it, the doors lock, the engine dies, and it gets blown up by a rocket.
