They always say that, but never go through with it. They hate each other with a passion (and i'm not kidding) they fight every night. I hate Hate HATE my dad. He is a complete a**. Long story. I need lots of information about Iowa divorces. Like how old you have to be to choose which one to go with? $$$$$? Just lots of info and websites maybe? Thanks for the help!

Well, you sound mature enough so ask your mom (or dad..if he isn't being an azz), what they plan to do. Ask them if they know that their constant bickering is really ruining your life. Make sure you tell them that you love them both but you understand if they decide to part ways. It should be their first priority to make sure that they are doing their best at raising you. And refusing to divorce, separate or go to counseling is quite selfish.

Maybe writing a letter would be more efficient. Make sure that you don't sound hostile and do not place the blame on either one. Make sure they know how much their behavior hurts you and that you will promise to be supportive if they do decide to part ways. Possibly offering to go to family counseling could be a step in the right direction as well.

It isn't your place to get them a divorce. You can't make them get a divorce. Although you could talk to them and let them know their stressful relationship is affecting you. Tell them how you feel about the fighting and everything. I'm sure they love you and want what's best for you. If they don't get a divorce, maybe they will at least get counselling.

well you know your cute self should not have to worry about this.my parents fight to they do it every day and night.theres nothing new about it they been saying the gonna brake up and get a divorce all this time i've seen nothing yet.i think they just talk crazy when parents get mad.and i'm not callin your parents crazy either,
