If the level in the pan reaches the mechanism it will foam up and do all kinds of bad things. You can pump the excess out with a 1/4" plastic hose through the dipstick tube.

I honestly hate computerized transmissions. there are literally 1000's of parts in them and an entire record of issues that should be incorrect. i'd trust it being a sticky solenoid like previously said. it form of feels maximum in all probability. after all, except you're valuable on your means to fix this kind of smooth area, i'd both call a transmission save to envision it out or replace the transmission. I in simple terms replaced the transmission in my Civic, which had no opposite or D4. had to start up in D1, then D2 and D3 ought to in person-friendly words artwork if it replaced into warmed up. metallic shavings were caked on the magnetic drain plug and the fluid considered as darkish as oil. You checked your fluid aspect. Is the fluid clearish pink or is it brown/black and under no circumstances so sparkling?

yes over filling is bad. it will cause the fluid to foarm up and expand out the vent tube all over. it may in some cased cause the clutches to heat up and seize togather. then its time for a rebuild of the tranny.
