You know it seems if you have a question about something, and you post it wanting other people to "help", and people take the time to give advice or try to help, the least you can do is go back and choose the best answer for you. Maybe I am the only one that feels this way, but I see people posting 20-30 questions in a week or two and the only ones resolved are chosen by voters, and not the person asking. If I post a question and people happen to find my question interesting or can even encourage or give advice, I am certainly going to read them and give them the satisfaction of knowing which answer I liked the best. Does anyone else agree?

I agree completely...at least let me know that you took the time to read my answer, since I took the time to read your question and respond. Its just the nice thing to do.

I have a bad habit of not choosing the best answer... I like to wait until the last minute to make sure I get all the possible answers, and then once the question closes, I forget that I need to choose one. I always mean to, and I always have my initial favorites, but I just want to make sure that I let all of the answers come in.

Hope that makes sense...I'll try to be better about it!

Maybe they don't like any of the answers. Or they can't choose just one as the best. I have never asked a question, but when I do I would like to pick the best answer myself.

I do. I always pick best answer. Sometimes I wonder if the asker just ask a question just for the sake of asking. Also, I don't think they realize that if they get 3 points back if they choose best answer. :)

Absolutely, I'm with you. Now you know why I stopped doing kids homework for them. They just want the answers and don't appreciate the effort you go to to help them.

I think they forget they asked them or want to leave it to the public or are away from the internet for a week or so.
