How much does it usually cost to get a fence rebuilt?

That question cannot be answered reasonably without details that are far too many to mention. Get estimates locally. Length, height, type, style, location, soil type, etc. can all make a difference on price. Oh and don't forget material, warranty, workmanship, experience and so on.

I had a fence installed in my backyard of 200 ft/It had 1 double gate for mower and carts etc and 2 single gates it is chain link with black vinyl clad/also back was done with dog ear top treated wood fencing/ Total cost was $3400/2005 summer

That would depend on what type of fence it is.....the cost of the replacement material, costs for digging new post holes if the current posts have to be replaced, and of course, labor. And how many running feet of fence needs to be replaced??
