can i change the key/door chimes on my truck?

If I like the tone of the 2004 or later Chevy truck chimes instead of the 2002, can I change it? How hard is it and how much does it cost? im planning on doing this on a 1999-2002 Chevrolet Silverado.

No you cant alter the chime unless yo remove the radio. The chime is generated by the factory radio. I put a new radio in a 2003 silverado and the chime tone changed. But I dont know any way to control its pitch.
