In a math way. For example, 30" what does it mean? And, what is '? For example 30'?

' means feet because it has 1 little things on the top

One apostrophe means feet and two means inches.

Also 40degrees 20feet and 50seconds could be written as 40(small circle) 20' 50" when measuring an angle.

Also...A single (typically an apostrophe) means minutes while a double (a quotation mark) means seconds.

So, 30" is 30 seconds.

30" would be thirty inches and 30' would be thirty feet (a ruler) hope that helps!

and i also believe it deals with some other kind of thing i cant remember and probably should considering i need to take the regents soon . . . i know you can do it on a calculator

the only thing I know for sure is that
" = inches
' = feet
However, today's math, it may have another meaning I an unfamiliar with.
