Judging by their poor performance, they haven't passed a dope house in some time.

They raised the minimum wage, implemented the 9/11 commission recommendations, and passed some resolutions on the Iraq war. They also have been investigating the problems with Walter Reed medical center, have exposed some abuses of freedom at the FBI, and are working on exposing some of the dirty dealings that Karl Rove and Alberto Gonzales have been engaged in while supposedly working for the American people. They have also investigated waste of our tax dollars by war profiteers and have forced bush to start Diplomatic acations in the middle east.

I'm proud of what they've accomplished, and look forward to more.

BINDING resolutions on the Iraq war will probably be passed when even more republicans lose their jobs after the next election cycle. This week proves that the country needs to defeat even more republicans if they want to end the war.

The do nothings need some help from republicans to get anything passed, that's why they are non-binding. As the elections get closer and all those Senators with their seats up for grabs, I wonder how long they are going to keep supporting the President. My guess, you're going to be seeing some binding resolutions in the not too distant future.

Most Congresses pass between 100 and 200 non-binding resolutions per term... look at the Congressional record. Check how many the Republican Congress passed each term between 2002 and 2006 for comparison.

As for the current House, they have approved somwhere between 1000 and 1400 bills, that have gone on the the next stages in the legislative process. That's in the two months that they'be been in office.

This is a really good question. When quizzed about what their objections were concerning President Bush and his administration, I can't name even one democrat that I spoke with who could tell me why they hated him, other than he was President Bush and a Republican and therefore he was wrong. They couldn't tell me what he was wrong about though.

I've listened to and argued with liberal democrats for the last seven years and longer because I don't see the democrats doing anything except attacking the President and blocking any legislation that the Republicans might want passed, and using any obstructionist tactics that they can find to play politics. But I can't point to anything that they've actually accomplished other than attacking those who don't agree with them.

We have terrorists attacking out country. We are a country at war because those same terrorists attacked the World Trade Center of New York City not once, but twice. Now it turns out that the same group of terrorists were responsible both times. Democrats are at a loss to why we are upset with Clinton. He bombed an aspirin factory, but he didn't protect this country against the second attack by doing his job after the first attack.

President Bush didn't sit on his laurels. He actually went to the World Trade Center and comforted those who were there digging to find our living and our dead. President Clinton never even entered the area after the World Trade Center bombing the first time. It simply wasn't important enough.

You can criticize President Bush all day long. But the FACT is that there have been further PLOTS by terrorists, but ever since engaging terrorism on THEIR home ground, there have been NO SUCCESSFUL attacks on American soil. He has done a good job, and that is what the Democrats are in Washington trying to keep silent.

I hear them attacking that he fired weak attorneys...they don't wish to discuss that President Clinton and his Attorney General, Janet Reno, did exactly the same thing in a much meaner way, and it was silenced. Not only that, but instead of investigating terrorism and PROTECTING our country, President Clinton and Janet Reno were murdering women and children because of their religion...in the person of the David Koresh people. Of course, David Koresh and his people can't defend themselves because the democrats burned them. Seems they like doing that sort of thing.

When are the democrats actually going to DEFEND this country and show their LOYALTY to America? I suspect that they cannot, because the leadership of the democrat party is socialist and communist in nature. They are the antithesis of what America stands for.

Why would they need to have solutions to any problems? I thought everything was going great under the current Administration? Do you mean to say that we have problems? What problems do we have that the Democrats need to find solutions to?

I noticed on C-Span yesterday that they had passed a bill and hidden deep within it's many layers was $19 million for redecorating their offices!

Democrats...what are you going to do?

You got to love politics.

Pull your head out of the sand and away from your misinformative BS Faux news.

In the first 100 days they passed several pieces of legislation, for the people, not for the GOP elite.

Read a paper.

They have pressured the Bush administration to use diplomacy and it is starting to ease tensions in the middle east. That's a good thing by the way.

They have tried to stop the unrestricted slaughter of military personnel for political gain. What did your hometown son or daughter die for?
