I wasn't planning to because of him telling me I am a late bloomer, graduate late, did all these community service things and have no career.
So since he cheated I have nothing to delay or hold on too I can be free to delay, but not really. really to accelerate without emotional pressure, I am sure my mom will understand.

You spent enough time putting your life on hold. Now is the time to put your life ahead of anything else. Now is the time to say to yourself, what is it that you really want from life. If what you say to yourself is that you want to get your masters degree, that is what you should do. The hell with a cheating boyfriend. If he did it once, he will do it again, dump him, you don't need a man to prove that you are an individual. Go for your own life, get on with it, get that degree. I give you credit for thinking of getting on with your life and being an independent woman. Good luck in your future life, get that degree, get the best of all jobs and find yourself a man who will appreciate you for who you really are.

I am sorry, however, I cannot believe you are asking this question. Are you serious? You should always think of yourself first, and making the best of your life. So I would say if a masters degree is what you want. Set some goals and go for it. It is never to late. Good luck and God bless****

I don't even need to read the details behind this question. Dump him and get your masters degree! Life is too short to give up your dreams for a cheating louse. Maybe your relationship will work out, maybe it won't. Either way, you need to take care of yourself first.

If you are putting him in front of your degree thats kind of a mistake...You should have your degree then your boyfriend cause you never know what life is going to throw at you...
the only degree you will have by staying with him is how to know if your bofriend is cheating one...Sorry lose the man gain a lifetime of happiness and a carreer...
Take Care~ keep your head up!

yes, yes, a thousand times yes!!!! Never ever let someone, especially a man that you can't do something. It is Never too late. If he is already cheating on you then save yourself before you get in any deeper. Your education is forever, relationships come and go.

sounds like he has been telling you what you aren't and what you can't do. i was 45 when i started my ms. life experience and maturation make the best students. the cheater lives on the surface where you the thinker are deep. don't let him bring you to the shallows of his misery ever again. remember all we encounter are our teachers, even the cheater. now dump him...

Yes you should. If you don't love yourself no one else will. You have to think more of yourself and allow yourself to grow. Go get that degree and dump the dead weight. He's not worth you!
